Whirled Peas- Music for All Occasions
Patty McCollom, (fiddle, banjo, tinwhistle, percussion, vocals,) Bob Altman, (keyboard and vocals), David James, (mandolin, fiddle, guitar and vocals) make up Whirled Peas Band.
Whirled Peas enjoys playing for both large and small events. Below is a partial listing of each type of event.
Large Venues:
Whirled Peas Band has played for the National Jane Austen Convention in Huntington Beach, CA (2017), the National Retreat for the Romance Writers of America Convention, Riverside, CA (2018), The Admiral Nelson Ball, Fullerton, CA (2012 - 2018), Dance Macabre, Riverside, CA (2015- 2017,) Fullerton, CA (2018), the Dickens Festival Grand Ball, Riverside, CA (2014 - 2018), The St. Nicholas Ball, Pasadena, CA, (2013 - 2018), and the Alice in Wonderland Ball, Pasadena, CA (2015-2018.)
Local Dances: Whirled Peas plays regularly for local English Country Dances in Anaheim and in Culver City, CA.
Internationally, both Bob and Patty toured to Hungary and Croatia with the Dunaj Folklore Ensemble and entertained at the U.S. Embassy in Budapest.
Whirled Peas is a dance band and plays for English Country Dance, Civil War Reenactments and Contradances. If Whirled Peas plays for your event, the audience is assured of a good time. We hope to play for your event in the future.
